DIANE NEUMANN AND JOHN FISKE have been the primary trainers of DMTA for thirty years. In 2018, they hand-picked Justin Kelsey and Ellen Waldorf to join their team and take over the reins starting in 2019.
All our trainers demonstrate individual styles as mediators. They provide you with a variety of mediation techniques to respond to the vast range of clients and situations you encounter as a mediator. The instructors will point out how you can develop your own strengths and your ability to use them most effectively.
We believe that mediators learn best by doing. You participate in simulated role-playing scenarios and receive constructive, specific feedback from each of the trainers.

“The DMTA training program is the richest, most enlightening and productive training I have undertaken in my over thirty-five years as an attorney. The concepts I have learned and the tools I have acquired will be invaluable in my future mediation and legal practice as well as in life itself. I compliment both Diane and John for a great program that I highly recommend to anyone.”
